Da quando ho iniziato ad interessarmi all’avifauna e a fotografarla il mio intento è stato quello di rendere omaggio ai soggetti che popolano i boschi, i prati permanenti i laghi ed i corsi d’acqua della mia regione natale, la Valle d’Aosta.
Questa è la regione più piccola d'Italia con 3.263 km² di superficie e anche quella meno popolata con circa 130 000 abitanti, con un territorio completamente montano tra cui spiccano i monti più alti di tuttaItalia. Il Monte Bianco, che con 4.810 m è il monte più alto d'Europa, il Cervino con 4.478 m, il Monte Rosa con 4.637 m ed il Gran Paradiso con 4.061 m.
Prediligo un genere fotografico di appostamento ed il mio intento è quello di riuscire ad avere una visione a 360 gradi sul soggetto; non mi ritengo un “cacciatore di taglie”, ma di situazioni, di colori e di emozioni!

Since I became interested in birdlife and photograph my intent was to pay homage to those who live in the woods, meadows permanent lakes and rivers of my native region, the Aosta Valley.
This is the smallest region in Italy with 3,263 km² surface and also the least populated with about 130,000 inhabitants, with a completely mountainous territory, among which the highest mountains of all Italy, the Mont Blanc (which at 4.810m is the highest mountain in Europe), the Cervino with 4478 m , Monte Rosa and the Gran Paradiso, respectevly 4.637m and 4.061m.
I prefer a photographic genre of stalking and my intention is to be able to have a 360-degree view of the subject; I do not consider myself a "bounty hunter", but a seeker of situations, of colors and emotions!
